Eastwood fender roller - anyone got one?

I'd love to borrow/rent it. I would happy pay shipping both ways, plus rental.

Even though my 205/55R16 tires fit on my car, I will probably want more rubber. And that's ONLY going to happen if I give the front fenders just a little bit of a massage. Not much, just a little.

I'd rather use the proper tool, and not a baseball bat or a dowel. And, I can do a good job, a good looking job, and really take my time on it, and properly heat up the paint, and all that good stuff.

Can anyone help me out here?

TIA!

There's a guy on eBay that rents one for $65 + $15 shipping + a refundable deposit. Search for "Porsche fender roller rental".

It is pretty easy to do this with a hammer and a "dolly" (chunk of steel body guys use). Wrap the dolly with duck tape to protect the paint and hammer gently from the inside

Same idea - heat gun and a rubber mallet. Did mine and worked great! As with anything - take your time and don't beat the crap out of it.

Hi Eric,

I had a rubbing problem with my 1973. The car wears 6x16 Fuchs with 205/55-16 tires. I was only able to finally resolve it by going to Turbo Torsion bars and having Mr Gamroth do some suspension adjustments.

I saw that, and that gave me the idea to come here first. I would rather give a Pelican some rental fee that a guy on the internet, right? [irony alert!]

I figured that one of you well-endowed* gentlemen might want to make a little dough with your tool.

(* I meant endowed with a large selection of specialized tools for Porsches and/or body work. What did you think I meant?)
