OT.. The God's Must Have Been Watching (Nice Cops)
This past weekend I was a bit preoccupied with things going on in my life as I was going to meet my wife at her mothers place in New Jersey. There is a point as you enter the New Jersey Tpke that you have to get a ticket to pay the toll on the other side. People leaving these areas always seem to be jockying for position and I just didn't want to deal with it. I put my foot to the floor and before I knew it, I was doing 90mph and flew past two state troopers. I just wasn't paying attention and as they started to catch up to me (I was slowing down to the speed of traffic) the lead car caught up and the officer inside was laughing and gave me a thumbs up and kept going. The second car passed me and he was histericle. Man, the 4th of July weekend and I thought they would be out in force handing out tickets. Lucky me!

I could tell you a story where the NJ State Police were even nicer to me, but not in this public forum. They can be very nice and lenient and I'll always remember it.
