Can you help me identify these early seats?
Hello,
I got these along with a 67 911 years ago and they have been sitting in the garage ever since. I couldn't find any markings and I assume they are aftermarket based on the construction, but they seem to have basket weave style inserts like 914 seats. The seem to be metal tube frame with a wood bottom. There were 4 bolts which went through the wood base of the seat, through another separate wood base and had nuts on the metal base. Thanks for the help, Ron 863-734-9256 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

some one took a pair of 914 seats and modified a early 911 metal base to work with them, for install in a 911. The fiberglass shell of the 914 is obvious but they cut the head rest portion off. Lot of work for a pair of heavy assemblies

That's what I thought initially, but the frame of the seat is metal tubing, my 914 seats are fiberglass frames.
Also, I think the buckets are deeper. Maybe, I'm wrong, but I don't think they are 914 seats. Ron |
