I got it for $165 with a coupon. It's probably the reason I've never had back pain.

I bought mine for about $200 and its a 700LB model; seems like you got a great deal.

BTW, I still have back pain, but I attribute that to my 12 fun years in the military.

It is the harbor frieght 1000 lb model. I called and they said they had two in stock. When I got there, they could not find either one, but said that they had two used ones in the back. I grabbed one that worked, and he gave me $100.00 off, so I grabbed it up for $150.00. It easily lifted the complete weight of a fully dressed 930 engine, and trans all the way up to full height without issue. I just hope it lasts longer than some of the other beauties I have purchased from harbor freight. Have you ever noticed the funny smell in that place?

Thanks for the info. Good deal on your lift. I hear you on the reliability of some of their products and their stores do seem to have a distinct aroma.

Great thread. Now I know what I'm going to use when I drop the motor some day. Our crematory lift! I've used it for a lot of folks who are heavier than a 911 engine for sure!

Well, I'm kind of a hound for deals. The floor lift itself was only $455.

I got the Harbor Freight cart almost three years ago -- they're a different color now. Back then, the price was $269, but it went on sale locally for $199. And back then, they didn't blink at stacking the 20% coupons on top of other discounts.

Matt:

What is the model number on your Bendpak lift?
