Like the quote:
"With a chest-length beard and finger-thick dreadlocks, the 45-year-old English immigrant doesn't look like a prototypical buttoned-down Porsche collector"

Looking forward to an online store to see what's for sale.

My conratulations too, entrepreneurship is alive and well.

I'm not buyer either but, in his defense, he and his wife do make a living by designing an selling clothing. So it is just an extension of their already rather successful business.

"Each of his 911s still has Porsche's trademark large oval headlights, low front hood and sloping teardrop roofline that give the car its legendary silhouette."

Since when did 911s have 'trademark' large oval headlights - all these years I thought they were round. I must have lost my mind....

Oh, yea, sweet article though. It's nice when a paper as well known as the times does a piece on you - it really helps to get the word out and does a lot to get things going. Nothing like free pr...

Great, now you have confirmed that I have lost my mind. I am glad I did not bet on that one. Going out to the car right now.

I also think I am losing my mind. When I installed my headlamps, they were most definitely round.

Now way are they oval on my 1984.

So tell me, am I losing my mind?

This whole thing was one of the greatest free soft promotion marketing campaigns ever. A truly brilliant use of the Internet, and I say that with the utmost respect. It's not easy to do - many have tried it here on Pelican, for the most part completely unsuccessfully.

You probably have the "sugar scoop" type of headlight, unlike the European type.

It did play out that way... A tip of the hat is probably in order.
