Pelican Parts Thursday's Engine Rebuild Teaser Pic...

Here we have a photo of the completed short block. Use the chain sprockets to help keep the chain hanging freely as you turn the engine. Also note the use of JB Weld to replace the original factory bonding agent that was removed during the cleaning process.

JB Weld is an epoxy type of glue that has particles in it so you can use it to fill as well as glue and even drill into it if need be.

They sell it in automotive stores over here.

How does it compare to Loctite or that Japanese stuff? Is it stronger?
