Adjust Air/Fuel Mixture
Does anybody Know where to adjust the air/fuel mixture on a 78 911 SC with a CIS System.

There is a small allen head screw at the base of the fuel distributor. It is located to the right of the CIS air boot but on the left of the fuel distibutor. You cannot see it sine it is behind the air box. Some have a small cap over teh top that must be removed before you can access the adjustment screw. I believe it is #14 on the following diagram:

Last post is correct, but why do you need to correct the mixture? Are you sure its not the control pressure (warm up regulator) that is the problem?
The mixture screw is usually adjusted with an exhaust sniffer connected. |
