Mystery wheel question

Hi guys,

Can anyone identify these wheels?

We are trying to determine an approximate age (to see if we can run them on a 1977 historic race car).

I sold and serviced wheels and tires in the late '70s and all through the '80s, and that exact wheel was not at all familiar to me.

Then I remembered you are in Oz, and that got me to thinking. Something about the construction style made me wonder if it might be an very early Simmons? So I googled it. Found this, among others:

You might be able to get a production date range if you contact them.

Thanks Arne, very helpful.

Tony Simmons has sold his wheel business but I'm sure I read somewhere that someone bought the rights to the smaller/earlier wheels.
