I'm researching my 1971E
The VIN is pretty well decoded ( 9111200348), but

1. How to discover Date of Manufacture
2. How many were sold in America
   

Any help?

Date of manufacture is tough without the compliance sticker in the door jam. Posting VIN# on Early S forum may help. Someone with a VIN close to yours will help narrow it down. I will note, my compliance sticker was 7/73, and the date code on the original Fuchs rims was 6/73. See if you can find the date code on your rims, if original.
