gunson CO meter
I just got my Gunson CO meter on Sat. I wanted to adj my mixture leaner so I could get better fuel mileage. I had messed with my mixture last winter but I made it way too rich. When I first tested the exhaust I got a reading of 9%. So I leaned it down to 3%. My car runs much better (crisper). And I hope I will get much better fuel mileage.
I really like the tester.

Dean, I'm thinking about getting one of these. Could you describe how you used it on your car. Is it an exhaust probe with a digital read out ?
Thanks

Yes it is an exhaust probe and a digital readout. First you calibrate the tester. Then you probe the exhaust and make your adj. Then you let the tester purge. The instructions that come with it are very good. It is well worth the $145 or so.
