can I drive with no heat ducts ?
I'm in the middle of a heat back date. I'm wondering if there is any risk in driving with the heating ducts not hooked up. I have removed everything. The fan ducts and block off plate are still installed just the heat duct and fan have been removed.

With nothing hooked up, you're getting very little air movement through the heat exchangers, which can become dangerously hot. You also get less engine cooling, as there is no back pressure where the heater hoses should be attached at the fan ducts. If you have to move the car, it would be fine. I would not, however, drive the car for a long time. YMMV

What about just hooking up the left side with what is already there. And leaving the right HE open?
