Race Seats

I am hoping to purchase a set of race seats for my Porsche, which is an occasional driver and is set up for DE and autocrosses. I will also have a 5 point harness so the shoulder belts will go through the seat.

I am trying to sort out all the details and have a somewhat limited budget.

I know there are Tube frame type seats and fiberglass/composite type seats available.

Q1. For PCA events, do race seats need to be FIA approved, what venues require FIA approval.

Q2. PCA requires some type of back bracing for all seats. Can the back bracing be applied to tube frame seats?

Q3. Recommendations on MFR/model of race seats to purchase.
