68 S Hot Rod Build - Brainstorming Stage

Guys,

I have a 68S which I'm thinking of building into a fun hot rod to drive around. Car is currently a vintage race car.

I have some ideas in mind and was thinking of color choices today. I own an Albert Blue 69S and also a 78 painted iris blue (993 color) so blue is out of the running. My 69S racecar is bright yellow with purple flames so yellow is mostly out too.

Color must be a crazy/fun color to go with the outlaw nature of the planned build. Been thinking of a bright green, aluminum and others.

Ideas?

Many outlaws out there have a flat color finish, which obviously isn't a requirement if you're thinking of building one. I do like orange, but then again, there are many out there already with shades of that color. How about the purple from the stripes in your race car? That way, they're cousins?

Obvious choice if you like bright green. Or perhaps chartreuse.

I love tangerine and the viper green. However a grey car can be fantastic. I know you said you wanted something over the top, but an early car in grey just does it for me. Might be called seal grey. Not certain.

Golden Green is high on the list! I was thinking of an Olive Drab type as an option and this one is much nicer.

On the grey's i was thinking a "brushed" looking aluminum, Carrera GT grey (seal grey?) or the "man of chile" grey.

I prefer non metallic for this car.

Here's another IROC color that's kind of nice. I would love to have a 911 in this color.
