What mufflers are these?
![]() ![]() Will a stock muffler still fit? Or will we need to buy any missing hangers/modify any body panels. I am looking to replace it with a stock muffler so that we don't introduce any tuning issues as we get the car running because of different back pressures than stock. This is what was on the car when we got it. Each of these mufflers is connected directly to each heat exchanger. They are not connected to each other in the center of the car. They obviously need to be replaced. ...Peter

Peter,
Looks like either an Ansa or a Monza, from that angle. Any OEM-type muffler (Leistritz, Dansk, or Monty) will bolt right up to the stock heat exchangers. That said, make sure you don't have the original factory ones on there as those are mild steel and now, dangerous to your health.

Thanks for the advice... I added one more picture to the original post for reference. We will be putting newer heat exchangers on... we're cleaning these up and repainting them. Below is the before and after from sandblasting them.
