So it grinds eh?
Hints: * do not try to put it into reverse when car is moving , even backwards * put it into 1:st first before reverse, be gentle. |
The manual says to hold the clutch pedal in for several seconds before moving the lever to reverse. When I do this, I never have a problem. If anyone else drives my car, I always tell them to do the same. They always seem to grind em though.

Don't feel bad though- as far as I know there is not a car on earth with reverse syncro. Car has to be stopped when engaging reverse as stated above, and whatever you do don't ever get pissed-off and go really fast in reverse- boost will come on and blow tranny into expensive, tiny pieces. I've actually seen this happen years ago.
