What engine part is this?
1 Attachment(s)
While cleaning my engine I notced the connector in the attached photo was disconnected. I do not think I disconnected...but may have. Anyway, I re-connected it and the car runs good, as usual. So what is this? Is it the wires for the O2 sensor? The connector is located in the upper left hand portion of the engine and the car is a bone stock 83 SC, thanks! SmileWavy

Welcome! That is the hot air blower in the engine compartment. It helps push hot air into your passenger cabin when you have the heater switch between the seats pulled up...

I think that maybe he means the connector on the far right.

BTW, where is the connection for the O2 sensor, the PO said it was disconnected? Also, I really like the site...great resource and tool for P-car owners. I have supported your efforts and will continue to in the future. Ill stop in and say HISmileWavy next time Im in LA. Wayne C. 83 SC |
I was referring to the connector in the center of the pic...hopefully this is what Wayne referred to in his response.
