Best track day brake pads (911sc) ?
Sorry if there's another similar thread, but I want to get a set of designated track day pads for my stock 81' 911 sc brakes. Any suggestions?

Raybestos! Almost all the POC racers in IP (modified SC) and JP (modified Carrera) and V3 classes use them.
They squeak like a stuck pig until they get hot, but nothing stops the car better or last longer in hard track time. You need to ease into them the first time you use them or you can flat spot the front tires.

Just ran PFC 06 front and PFC 97 rear on a track known to be hard on brakes. Great combination on a 89 2900lb car. Not sure they come in your size. Check it out.

I use PF97 for front and stock pads for rear. Good balance for my 81 SC. I use Frozen Rotors all around.

Ran Hawk HT10 pads for a decade or more when my brakes were still stock. Nice grip, good pedal modulation.
But don't forget that the pads are only part of the equation. You need a top quality high temp brake fluid too or the new pads will just boil the fluid faster. Motul 600, Brembo, Castrol SRF. The ATE SuperBlue won't cut it, it's the blue colored version of the stock street fluid that Mercedes puts in street cars. And you need to get air to the rotors too.
