Santa Cruz Windshield install?
Hello,
I acknowledge that windshield install isn't the same as rebuilding a 915 trans, but there is certain knowledge required to do it correctly. I am in the search process to find an installer of windshields who has the necessary skills do do it correctly. Any suggestions?

The guy at Capital Glass Works used to be the go to for local Porsche dealers for years back in the day, that's where I would go, he's fixed a number of windows over the years for me and I've talked with him a number of times about when/if I need a Porsche window. Family owned, nice people, don't be put off by the casual look of the place. In Santa Cruz talk to the Porsche shop there, I forget the guys name, he may have ideas if you must do the job in Santa Cruz.

I did mine with the help of a friend and it went very smoothly. You are welcome to come have a look and get a blow by blow (or tap by tap) description of the process. I could help you with yours if you would like. I'm in Santa Cruz; PM me if any of the above sounds useful.
