does anyone have a factory escutcheon plate for factory targa hardtops?
looking to borrow one for a couple weeks. anyone happen to have one?
|
I probably do, but don't recognize the description you're using. Got a picture?
|
|
Yep - I got 'em and the car is going nowhere fast (engine still out). Do you need the plate, or would pictures, CAD model, drawing, etc be helpful? PM/e-mail to get set up.

Dan Petchel the targa top guy will sell you them. I bought mine from him.
Gee that picture looks familiar... :) |
already tried dan and they are all long gone.

You can still get these through Pelican. It's a special order from the factory and takes about three weeks, but I got a pair a year or so ago so they were still available then.
Part no 911.565.221.40 @ $9.00 each. I don't think I found it in the catalog but Glenn helped me get them as I recall. |

Confirmed - that plate in the link is the right one.
|
I need the ones in the rear seal, I only have one of them left in my top - does anyone know a source on those?
