Used parts shops in UK or elsewhere in europe?

I am looking for used headlights for my car. The lamps should be H4 and inside Europe. This way I can pay with visa and there are no extra taxes or tolls.

I went through 911 & Porsche World, sent email to all firms that I could find that have used parts. No luck.

I thought the headlight assembly -74-89 was the same, and some firms just told me that: "Naah, that Porsche is so old, you propably won't find any good used parts for that".

So, does anybody know a company where I could ask these from?

Well, headlight assembly is about 85£ a piece and I need 2. If I can get used for half the price, I would take them (assuming that those are in ok, condition)

If you have tried all the places in 911 Porsche World with no success then I think you will be very lucky to find any (at least out of England).

Firms such as Transend I have found to be pretty good although they are pretty epensive. The best place would be swap meets although that may also prove difficult.

Hope you get some.

do you want the complete ass. or just lens??

Euro parts have them listed for £65 +vat complete with either black or chrome rim. but cheaper if you only want the lens.

Complete assembly, now i have -67 beetle lights on my car

Its just that I don't want to pay more than that 65£ for both assemblies together.

Do you want them for use in the UK? Then you'll have to get RHD ones.

If you want LHD ones then I have some for sale - apparently they can be bent a bit to function as RHD ones but I preferred to go for proper ones. Alternatively you can keep the stickers on.

I bought them out of the back of 911 & Porsche world - you should find a pair for about £100.

Just remember that they drive on the "wrong" side of the road in the UK and therefore have a different light pattern on their headlamps than the rest of Europe.
