Help me with options to rebuild my C 3.0 engine

I have a 76 Carrera 3.0 with an engine that has just gone bang.

So now that I am forced to do an engine rebuild, I thought it would be a good time to do some mod's.

It's a road car but I do around 15-20 track days / DE a year.

The budget is not endless, so no Henry Supertech 2.8RSR twin plug unfortunately,

I am open to making it a 3.2 or to replacing the CIS with EFI. We have 98 gas so I can lift the compression

I have SSI's and single out sport Dansk

The target is crank 240-250hp without twin plugging.

I want the car to still be civil. I want a strong engine that will last a few years of regular track abuse.

What are the options and best ways to achieve this. Specific's would be appreciated with respect to cam, pistons etc.

Thanks in advance
Paul

w/o twin plug you limit cr, so ~9:1, 98mm p/c, S cams, EFI will give you more programming flexibility
