Bentley Service Manual for '76
Simple noob question:
I really like the Bentley manuals and I'm disappointed they do not offer one covering the '76 911S. Will I find the manual for the '78-'83 911SC useful? I'm thinking there is a lot of commonality between the earlier S and the later SC. I do have the Haynes and access to the Porsche Workshop Manual set. |

Yes they are similar enough for the Bentley to be useful, but if you have the workshop manual that would be best. The Bentley is good but it has some errors.

Veloce Press has reprints of the old manuals including "Porsche 911 1970-1977. I found that manual useful because it has specific information on these models that the Bentley does not have. I think I got mine from Amazon.
VelocePress: Clymer Manuals, Workshop Manuals, Technical Books, European Automobile Books, Ferrari Manuals, Brooklands Books
