1981 911sc. Just about to pick up my completely repainted P car. It looks awesome. My questions are..............
The Fuchs wheels are center and spoke black with chrome rim. The black (paint?) has chipped off on various areas on each wheel. It looks like bare metal(?) Chrome(?) under the black. Is this normal? Where they painted at sometime? Where they orginally chrome? How did they come from the factory?I want to refurbish them.
Looking for comments!!!!!!!!

When new the wheel was satin annodized over the entire surface and then the center was painted over with black.
