Biridgestone discontinuing the RE-11?
 

I've been looking at the RE-11s for my 7 & 8s and was planning to run 225/50/16s
up front and 245/45/16s in the rear. It looks like Bridgestone is discontinuing the RE-11s in the 225/50/16 and the 205/55/16 sizes and replacing them w/their RE-11A. What I find odd is the overall small selection of tire sizes for the RE-11As and that the 245/45/16 is not discontinued in the RE-11 model. Anyone know the specifics? The Tire Rack wasn't helpful.

Just bought a set of RE 11"s from Tire Rack. The salesman I talked to had a small quantity left and said that the RE 11A's were coming in late this week. I can tell you that the A's were being offered at a lower price than the old ones.
