Latest on my detonation problem.

Guys,

For those of you following this thread here's the latest. I redid the compression test last night. As I mentioned the one I did yesterday morning before work was rushed. After pulling the plugs and cranking it over 10 to 12 times per cylinder the compression was right at 150 per cyclinder plus or minus a lb. This was on a stone cold engine that still hasn't been broken in yet. It started raining real bad so I didn't get to pull the injectors and swap that one around.

It goes to the shop tomorrow morning anyway to fix the trans problem so I'm letting them tackle this issue too. I'll have them do a leakdown on the engine too while I'm at it. Thanks to everyone that posted ideas, suggestions and comments. Also thanks to those of you that just lurked and read and/or commented privately. Hoepfully by this time next week I'll be out driving it and these will be issue of the past.

Dan
