88 wheel lock cap - Help me find!

I knew it would happen eventually... I lost one of the little plastic caps that protects the key slot on my OEM wheel locks.

I've searched all the standard places and even called my local dealer's parts dept... I can't find these anywhere.

Does anyone know of a source for these caps? Anyone have a used set lying around?

I don't want a different set of locks. The car is super-original, and I want to keep it that way.

Help. Thanks.

I bought one of those from Pelican about 2 weeks ago. All you need to find any part is the part number. The parts catalog is available for free download from the Porsche web site and is provided by Pelican in the parts catalog in the top left area of the page.

Glad you made that post Arne2 as I was just getting ready to make a search for them as I would like a couple of spares. This site reminds me of my wife as all I have to do is think of something and she is already giving me advice. Damn, isn't love grand!

It's worth replacing them all with four super-original lugnuts.

Agreed -- about the only person a locking lug nut is REALLY going to deter is you, the owner, when you're on the side of the highway trying to change a flat.

This is about originality. The car was delivered with these locks.

Yup. And it doesn't hurt to use them either. There are some unsophisticated thieves out there desperate to find something they can sell on ebay. A wheel lock slowing them down might be enough to deter them into going after Darrin's wheels instead.
