Canadian Engine Rebuilder????
Can anyone recommend a good porsche engine rebuilder in Canada? Preferably in the eastern provinces? If not I'll entertain North East US ones as well. Thanks for any help

Brent Hunter at Hunter Motorsports has an excellent rep.. for Sure. he is located in GTA . There may be a few in Quebec also. I dont imagine there are too many Porsche indpendants in the Eastern Provinces.

Chris Kirby KB auto.
Between Ottawa and Montreal. (613) 835-2587 He does a lot of work for racers and DE guys and plain old street cars in the area. He built the winning targa Newfoundland 911 motor that Glen used and is a Porsche club technical inspector. I think he was founder of the Rennsport region of PCA as well.

If your near Nova Scotia, Larry Burbidge is the guy you want.
He's the best IMO  He also works magic on 915 transmissions

He is in BC, but I would have Jeff Alton build me an air cooled engine any day. Once you are shipping it 100 or 1000 miles doesn't make much difference.

There is a Porsche repair shop in Charlottetown, PEI. Not a dealer, but does all the local Porsches. Owners name is Scott MacDonald, Shop is called KING KAR and Scott is helpful and obliging (just like all Islanders). 902-370-6000 PH
