Angry Fixin' the HONDA

Earlier this year I replaced the fuel lines in my 1970 911T with -6 AN fittings. I went the whole route: AN adapter on gas tank fitting, stainless line routed through tunnel and an banjos to carbs.

After this, replacing the fuel line on my 1992 Honda Civic 4-dr should be easy right? After all, it's an OE replacement line going from the rear fitting to the fuel filter at the front. In fact, the car is now at the dealer because the design of the Honda requires the front suspension/subframe to be dropped for fuel line replacement... Is this not completely asinine?? Now I'm looking at 6-8 hours labour to fit what should be an easy to replace fuel line ...
