Space ring for front spindle, need P/N

Hey guys,

Have my suspension apart and noticed the spacer rings on my front spindles show some wear. That is the race on the spindle behind the inner bearing.Does anybody have the P/N for this item ?
I need to order two of them asap from my local auto parts,i can't wait two weeks for Pelican ...

Thank you !
Phil

Hi Craig,

I have the Pelican P/N but i can't wait two weeks for them to process the order and ship it to Montreal ... i'm off to my auto parts dealer with my strut and we'll see if we can come up with something !

Cheers !

Not sure if the wear is all that important....as I see it on mine, the inner bearing should slip over the spacer and there should be no movement between that spacer and the inner race of the bearing. If there has been, I would think that it is the bearing that is beginning to sieze up which would then cause wear.

Given it is not all beaten up or heavily worn, why not just clean it up, maybe with some very fine sandpaper and use it? It is not a bearing surface that I can tell....

Dennis,

For whatever reason,it is scored on the lower part, something i missed last Fall during my last track session where i couldn't see anything wrong.I had an issue with the inner bearing race spinning in my hub and it probably destroyed the spacer ring on the spindle.

Looks like it's a dealer only part and i might have to order from Pelican if i want two of them ...

Cheers !
Phil
