72 rear swing arm removal
We wanted to remove these to refurbish. We ran into a problem with the right side main bolt,, it hits the transmission and it appears like we have to drop the engine to remove it. Is that correct?

Did mine a few years back and unfortunately you are correct; the engine and transmission had to be removed in order to remove the bolt you refer to. Good luck with your project.
