Did I maybe find Craigslist gold?

So I bought an 82 Sc the other day as a roller to take a few years and build up. I was just browsing through Craigslist and found a Whale tail for sale locally... Said the deck-lid had its scratches and dings but was usable with repair. The price sounded too good to be true so I called immediately thinking it was a typo and hopped in my car and headed right down. It was everything he said it was and looked to be in better shape then what he had told me it was except for one thing... The entire whale was fiberglass. on the back of the wing the Porsche crest was stamped and it says Porsche on it. I'm led to believe its an OEM part but it has no rubber lip its one piece fiberglass. Ive never seen one like this that I can remember... Any insight on this one? I'll try and post pictures a little later.

This sounds a lot like the one that came on my car... all fiberglass and had the Porsche crest on it. I inquired about the same issue year's ago and and everyone here pronounced this as a repro.

Does this one look like this?

Yeah that looks just like it. I wouldn't think a repro would have the crest and the name on it. Either way I'm quite happy. It was $100 and in fairly good shape. Minimal body work is needed on it.
