Post Touch up original car or repaint?

My friend bought an old 911 in a factory solid color (non clearcoat), kind of an off white. One side was repainted, the rest of the car original. All paint is in excellent condition except the area near the door handle on repainted side where it was scratched down to the second layer and chipped by a botched attempt at repair.

Do you guys know of any "magician" paint guys out there who could touch up something like that and blend it in. I heard major strides are being made in stone chip repair, similar to what we've seen for paintless dent and ding repair, maybe this can be done with relative ease.

I's hate to see this guy repaint the whole car, most of which is original, just to fix a couple of areas. Hope you guys have some ideas. Car is in the Southern Calif. area. Thanks.
