Engine back in the Targa

1989 Targa - 90K miles

I finally got the engine back into that Targa this past weekend after a 3-1/2 month period out of the engine bay to have many many updates and refurbishment tasks completed. From replacing the oil cooler that had been holed by nesting mice in the cooling ducts to a new clutch.

There is where we started on 12/5:



Epic filth and what seems like tons a mouse crap to clean up.

Here is where we are now:



Clean and running just fine. Started right up after maybe 10 seconds of cranking.

Brakes yet to be done before she's back down on the tires and rolling under power. Maybe another week of evenings....
