ANyone have a picture of an original/restored to original fromt trunk?
 

Hi All -
I am doing some detailing. When my car was re sprayed, they got some overspray on in the front trunk. Not much - but enough. I have everything pretty much cleaned up and looking presentable - except for the shock towers. When I went to scrub them off, I did not hit clean metal on the bearing retainer plates, but a black tar like substance. I am able to chip it off, but after thinking about it, I would like the car to remain original.

Does anyone have any pictures of an unrestored/restored back to stock from trunk? Mine is a 77 if that matters.
