Will these Recaro seats work in an SC?

Trying to help a fellow Pelican confirm, if these seats will work in his SC. I read in an old post that Recaro LS seats can adapt to an SC with the original seat sliders. Here is what he emailed me: Have a question though. I can't really tell from the pics so maybe you can tell me. I'm told that some of these old Recaros have an integrated frame/rails depending on what kind of car it came from and that the integrated won't work in the 911. The non-integrated version should be a direct replacement using the factory rails. Can you confirm which type it is?

I haven't tried to fit those seats,
but my guess is that will sit rather high if you use the stock stuff.

I have LS seats (80's vintage) in my '69. I use the Recaro seat/seat rail adapters. They provide a slight height adjustment at each corner. Pretty sure the seat mounting pattern/area hasn't changed, but you could confirm with ____________ (sorry, I forgot the Recaro guy's screen name).

My cousin had a couple of Bimmer/Recaros in his '81 SC. AFAIK, he just bolted them onto the existing seat mounting brackets.

Here's a pic of the seat profile, which is low. If you add the SC sliders, which are thin, I think the seats will sit low. Here's a pic I found, looks like Busta Ribs car.

I had Recaro LX seats in my 930. I installed the Recaro seat adapter to the seat and then mounted the stock sliders. Mount in stock location and you're done!

I have Recaro SRDs (which look very similar to yours) in my 911SC. The factory seat mount/sliders bolted right onto the bottom of the SRDs. I didn't have to use the Recaro sliders.

Ditto. SRDs in my SC w/factory sliders. I've also ridden in Bustarib's car w/the pictured LSs and they seemed to fit fine.

Recaro LS in SC

I have these seats (LS) in my '79 SC. I used the sliders from the stock touring seats with no adapters and raised the front portion enough to allow room for the slider lever to rotate for seat slide adjustment. Love these seats!

I have them in my '79 SC also. I used the mounting brackets that came with the seat. They place your butt a couple inches closer to the floor than the stock non-sport seats. I love them.
