AZ Pelicans! Let's gather for Copperstate 1000 departure!
This is an event that is not to be missed!
I went last year and was blown away by the quality and quantity of vintage exotic cars (lot's of Porsche 356 & 911's). The departure date is Sunday 4/7. There is a free cruise in car show for all makes and models in the Tempe Diablo Stadium parking lot called Field of Dreams. It's very impressive in it's own right. Let's gather together in the parking lot and display our 911's together. People start showing up at 8 am. The rally departs at 10 am. There is no cost to display car or watch the rally departure up close from the field of TDS. This is a really cool event! Field of Dreams/ P

4/6 is a Saturday... Jus' saying :-)
BTW, I'm considering a drive that weekend from Atlanta to San Francisco - If I do, I'll be coming thru Az on I-40 sometime Saturday or early Sunday... Chuck.H '89 TurboLookTarga, 348k miles |

I'm going to see if I can make this. I work Friday night and don't get home 'till 8:30 AM. I'll arrive late or see if I can get the night off. I've seen the start a few times and used to see them stop in Prescott when I lived there - not to be missed!
