3.2l intake vaccum line ID
Hi All,
I stole this pic of a 3.3l intake system from another post. Please help me with some identification. 1 What is this copper line and fitting to the manifold for? 2 What is this little vacum nipple for. I see the line to the fuel damper and regulator, and the one to the ambient air valve. 3 What hooks to this big nipple on the intake boot? thanks Mark ![]() |

Thanks Jim,
Why is it connected to the manifold and the intake boot. If it is to supply vacum to the booster can why the double connect? best Mark |

Thanks Kurt,
I do almost have it. The problem is my engine is in a 914/6 conversion that I bought half done, so I don't know where the other end of some of those lines go. I know now to block off the brake line as I have no booster can. Also I live in Hawaii and the ambient air valve is missing, so I will block that one off. I get the loop between throttle body and thermo valve, and the thermo valve y out to the fuel damper and reg. Where do those big lines go? best Mark ![]() |

The bigger of the two hoses is just a breather hose for the oil tank. The smaller of the two hoses eventually gets routed to the charcoal canister.
