What am I missing in the spot?

I have a wire hanging down and looks like some spot for something in my dash. My car is an ‘83 Cabriolet.

It’s for the Wiper double wipe. Yep, you press it and the windshield is wiped twice. Quirky and useless.

Right switch is for the sunroof, which you do not apparently have and right one is for the wiper double wipe.
Cheers,
Johan

I have never heard of a "double wipe"......well not as it applies to Porsche. My Mom offered up another storyline.

that's what I was wondering.

if someone wired something else in there then the original wire should be back inside the dash

That's one horrible looking interior. Remove tongue from cheek. How about an exterior pic?
