A friend of mine who has a 1999 964 (I think) got in a little fender bender and is looking for reputable body shop in the San Francisco Bay Area - anyone have a recommendation?

Bodystyles here on San Jose on Brokaw Rd is great with Porsches, a bit of a crive but if you find no other, these guys are great...

Ditto on Bodystyles in San Jose! Did some paint work for me and was very well taken care of. There was an article in Excellence about two highly modified SC's and one of the pair had its bodywork done at Bodystyles.

Carlsen Porsche Audi has a good bodyshop in the Palo Alto area, and the Anderson Behel bodyshop in Santa Clara / San Jose area (seperate from the dealer) was good 5 years ago when i lived there. Did all the MB, BMW & Porsche dealer work at that time..

had a great experience at autobahn body and repair in mountain view. they took car of the rear end damage on my black 88 carrera and the work was immaculate.

I've heard good things about Cook's as well from others on this board, though I've not had the opportunity (thankfully) of using them.

All excellent reccomendations. One that is close to the city is Rector Porsche Audi in Burlingame. They have a painter named Johnnie who's work is worthy of consideration.
