Tires! rating?
I have read previous post regarding the limited availability of OEM 15" Dia. tires.
My 88 rides on 195/65R 15 91H front 215/60R 15 94H rear I was surprise to find Michelins in these sizes at the local Costco. The problem is the ratings the 195's are H rated & the 215's are V rated... ( I am not presently shopping for tires. I had some time to kill before the main store open.) The guy at counter states that Michelin is the only tire that allows mismatching these rated tires. Anyone ever hear of this? My 88 is strictly a street car. Four years new to me. Like others I value the knowledge here. Thanks, I appreciate any thoughts on this. |
