83 SC Electrical problems
Got an 83 SC that is giving me grief after years of trouble free driving. It is about to turn 90K. It 100% original. I recently lost my power windows, horn, fog lights and cruise control. Power does not appear to be getting from the relay area to the fuse block. It shorted one of my pwr window switches which I just ordered but I cannot get power to my window switches without bypassing the relay. Speedometer is reading 8mph fast and tach will periodically not work. Any ideas? Is this common? Are they related? I have replaced the relays on all non-functioning items to no avail.
Giving me lots of grief in this 105 degree heat in Utah right now that I can't roll down the windows while my mediocre a/c tries to work so any ideas or help would be appreciated. |

Let me say I know next to nothing on this score, preferring to listen to EarlyS, but I do wonder if this came acropper as the rains disappeared and the heat dried out all "false" grounds that were working via moisture?
