steering wheel cracks questions
Are the cracks, or separations, on the horizontal bars of possibly the most God awful steering wheel ever made and used in automotive history actually cracks in the leather or are they gaps in the sections of leather used to cover the wheel?

BUMP - I'm probably being impatient, but am trying to sell this wheel and want to explanin to someone if those separations are cracks or pannel gap lines and I don't know much about his type of steering wheel (except that it is ugly as hell, of course)

I always liked that steering wheel... They are just small gaps in the leather pieces - made that way.

I am not a fan of your hating on that beautiful steering wheel (on the car until I decide what to replace it with, but it is growing on me), but KNS ^^^^ is right. That is the way they were built.

An understated beauty IMO
(all decent quality leather, slightly embossed Porsche, really nice stitching &, yes, seperate pieces of REAL leather) There are far worse wheels out there that just don't belong in ANY cockpit![]() ![]()
