Windshield glass

I'm looking to replace my dash and need a good place in the DC area or within 50 miles or so. I guess I'm going to replace the glass as I've heard the old glass is prone to cracking when its removed. Any info on a good place would be great.

Safelite in Alexandria did mine a couple of years ago (through USAA). Warranteed for life.

I had some bad experiences with their office in Manassas--they didn't know how to install the glass--and turns out there's a much more experienced guy who's worked on 911s at their office in Alexandria.

Front glass comes out amd goes in pretty easily. Whether or not yours is showing its age, is up to you. A new windshield is not a bad thing.
