Quick question about production volumes
 

Hey all:

I am doing a little searching and trying to determine how many 911s were made in the 70's in production.

I am sure there is a reference that I am not finding in my searches - but how many 911s did Porsche make in the 70's? I am most curious about model year 79; where I found a statistic that does not seem correct (less than 10k 911 vehicles were produced...)

Perhaps that is from an inaccurate source - but I am sure that there are some fellow Pelican-ites that are more well informed.

There's a site called simons porsche 911sc. He has production numbers and other info. The site has between 10 and 11 thousand built worldwide
