factory coil over front suspension on IROC's

I'm trying to find documentation of what the factory built for a vintage car
The car is going to run as an RSR 3.0
using the IMSA 1976 rules

(the IMSA rules indicate that the suspension must be of the type supplied by the factory)

so that puts it back to:

"did the factory build any front coil spring RS/RSR normally aspirated cars in 1973,74,75?"

my guess is that the 935's had 935 coil over front suspension.... but I don't know if the RSR 3.0's had that. I don't think FIA allowed it, but can't verify.

thanks in advance for everyone's help

This may not answer your question, but it is a sat art. SOme interesting detail in the video as well as the text of the 75 Jager restoration.

I keep finding restoration websites, or custom builds with conflicting info
but I don't know if that was the restoration shops perogative, or the way the factory did it in 1973, 1974, or 1975....

does anyone know?

The 2.8 RSR built in '73 was torsion bar. The 3.0 RSR '74 was coil over. Many 2.8 cars were updated to '74 and later specs as they were campaigned over the years.
