magnetic pulse generator screw removal

Anyone know how these screws can be removed? I stripped the head on one and had to drill it out to remove the assembly, and I would like to replace the screw.

(Thank you, scottgoing, for the image.)

you could dremel the bad screw to get it out of there, then find a shorter screw that you can get in there. i bet that would work

Thanks. I should have been more clear. I already removed the stripped one by drilling out the head and then EZ outing the screw. I'd just like to get a replacement in there. A shorter screw would have to be pretty short to fit under the cutout... I suppose a trip to the hardware store for some trial and error may be in order.

Well, I went in and disassembled the upper parts of the distributor. Once I pulled the magnetic pulse generator/pickup assembly, I removed the pickup. Then I kind of pulled the halves of the mag pulse generator apart with my fingers, separating them enough to have room to remove/insert the screw.
