Decent Engine on Ebay?

This may be interesting for someone looking for a "Little Engine". Sounds like it has been done correctly so far. Curious as to how much it finally goes for could be a deal!

Best,

seems very nice, wish it was a 3.6 or 3.2 turbo though.

Now the twin turbo 996 engine, WOW! The defect that is listed and pictured...what will that cause?

Tim, that is a nice 3.6 for sale...just the price is the issue. Would love to get it for the price of the 2.7

Looking carefully at that photo, I doubt there'd be any long-term negative effect of having that damaged flange.

I don't recall if a regular 911 motor has or uses this flange when installed, but I doubt it would stop someone using this motor. The ad says that the motor only has 5,100 miles, so it's safe to assume that the motor is a complete warranty claim item and someone bought it to re-sell.
