G-50 update kit

Does anyone know when Porsche made this upgrade kit available? The second owner of my car (I'm the fourth) had a clutch replaced in 1995 but there are no details in the maintenance records whether the fork/ shaft was seen to.

I'm dropping the engine soon and would rather not have to detach the transmission for the engine to find out...clutch is not heavy and shifts well...

Thanks all.

It seems it was available from the factory for transmissions produced after April 6 1989, with serial numbers greater than 03381 or 01159 (limited slip). If your clutch is smooth than it's likely you have it - the original shaft is terrible IIRC. I did the mod many years ago.
