used snap-on lift / advice needed
 

This snap-on lift is advertised locally and I was wondering what people's opinions of it might be (I've never seen a boxed in scissor lift before). The asking price is $2,500.00 and would be used to work on the p-car.

I bought mine used for $850...
Yours looks different, as mine has spaces on the top rails.
Maybe a PO modded it for a motorcycle.

One with top, one without are the model. If I remember the right, the one with top is the newer and can handle an extra 1000lbs. If my memmory is bad, someone can correct me.
When I was searching, it's rare to find a snap-on, and no one asked below $1k. $2,500 for a used one is way too much.
