6500 mile 911 trip completed and who wants tix for Vancouver BC CART?
Last night, my wife and I got home from a nearly 6500 mile, mostly secondary roads, cross country trip in our 79 SC. The car ran great, Pelican came through with flying colors for the one spare part we needed in route, and my wife and I still like each other :-) Tales of adventure and photos will follow as time permits.
One thing we found upon our return is that due to a friend's unexpected illness, we have an extra hotel room and two extra tickets to the Vancouver BC Cart race July 26, 27, and 28. These are three day box seat passes (face value $150 ea.) and a mid priced downtown hotel. If anyone is interested in joining us and one other couple for the event, please drop me a PM. If you've never been to Vancouver, the food's great, the people are wonderful, and the exchange rate is still in our favor!

Wow, 6500 miles makes my weekend morning trips seem like nothing. Still speaking with the wife ... priceless!
Congrats on a successful trip.
